Current Priorities:

Below you can find a list of priorities Nanw is working on this year as well as their current progress on them.

Aberystwyth students will feel heard and represented. We will regularly speak with students to understand the challenges they face, ensuring we have the information needed to bring to the University and to guide the Union’s work.

Ensure that the Welsh language is an important factor in the University and the Undeb's discussions.

  • Work with the University to integrate the Welsh language into their strategy for the future.
  • Work with the Academic affairs officer to develop an academic rep system that makes sure Welsh language students are heard.
  • Consider how we can celebrate and promote the Welsh language and culture across the calendar.
  • Ensure accessible opportunities for students to immerse themselves in Welsh culture and learn the language withing the University and Undeb.
  •
