Advisory Boards

Undeb Aberystwyth has 3 active Advisory Boards run by students to develop key areas of the Students' Union and student life. We have:

  • International Students' Advisory Board
  • Disabled Students' Advisory Board
  • Club, Society, and Volunteering Advisory Board

These Advisory Boards are run and attended by students who have an interest or experience in the area. They are to advise and make recommendations to the Students' Union on areas of development such as policy making, campaigns and key projects in our strategic plan.

International Advisory Board

 

The International Students' Advisory Board is set up for international students to share experiences and advice Undeb Aberystwyth on key strategic developments to support international students.

This Board is attended by our International Students' Volunteer Officer, relevant full-time officers, and other international students keen to make their time in Wales the best possible.

Disabled Students Advisory Board 

 

 

The Disabled Students Advisory Board is set up to advise the Student’s Union on key actions to be more accessible and inclusive through shared experiences.  

This Board is attended by our Disabled Students Volunteer Officer and students who identify themselves to be disabled or neurodiverse. You do not need to be diagnosed as we understand this can be a barrier for some.

Clubs, Socs and Volunteering Advisory Board 

 

The Clubs, Socs and Volunteering Advisory Board is set up to advise the Student’s Union on how to support students in active groups while they are studying at Aberystwyth University. .

This Board is attended by our Sport, Society and Volunteering Project Senedd Reps as well as the relevant Full time Officer.
