Aberystwyth University Best New Society 2018/2019

Aberystwyth University Most Improved Society of the Year 2020

Aber Dogs is a society for people who love dogs. We are focused on fundraising for charities such a Guide Dogs, who we recently raised over £500 for during the last term of the 2018/2019 academic year. We also run minibus trips to Many Tears Dog Shelter in Llanelli once a month where we walk the rescue dogs and socialise with the puppies. We also attend the world famous Crufts in Birmingham every year, which is one of the highlights of the year. Other social events we hold include Quiz nights, movie nights, guest lectures and Christmas and End of Year meals.

Aber Dogs Society is dedicated to the inclusion and acceptance of all members regardless of age, race, ethnicity, ability, culture or nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, religious affiliation, socioeconomic status and marital status.
