It’s the end of term 1! It’s certainly been a busy one but it’s nearly Christmas!
This blog is the start of our launch for the You’re Great! campaign. Do you know a member of staff who has gone above and beyond to help you this semester? Whether that be a tutor who has taken that extra time to explain a topic, the admin staff who always greet you by name and with a smile, or the student volunteers who have made your first semester amazing. We want you to nominate them for one of our You’re Great! awards – a prestigious award of thanks presented by the Students Union to recognise exceptional positive impacts.
Every year we have our Student Led Teaching Awards (SLTAs) in the summer term, but we know that fantastic things happen all year round. Nominations are reviewed by a student panel every month and winners will receive a You’re Great! mug and personalised certificate to recognise their hard work.
