Here at AberSU we want Aber students to love student life; and we believe that one of the ways to do this is to join sports clubs and societies to help find your Aber community!
Refreshers is a chance to reintroduce our amazing sports clubs, societies and volunteering opportunities – as well as local and national businesses.
Refreshers isn’t just for new students – it’s an opportunity to talk to over 120 sports clubs and societies, find out about numerous volunteering opportunities and what the SU and Aberystwyth has to offer any student.

ReFreshers Fair: 29th & 30th January
Are you ready to kick off the new year with a burst of excitement and energy?
Our Refreshers Fair is your gateway to a semester filled with fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories and gives you the chance to find out what AberSU and other organisations has to offer.

What to expect:
Kickstart the Refreshers Fair with tranquillity! Join us for a Quiet Hour at the beginning of the event, allowing everyone to ease into the fair with a moment of calm and reflection. No music will be played and disability badges are available for pickup at our SU stall, ensuring an inclusive environment and creating a welcoming space for all.
Exciting Opportunities: With over 120+ clubs, societies, and volunteering projects to get involved with, it's the perfect place to explore a diverse array of opportunities that cater to every interest and hobby. From sports clubs and societies, to joining a volunteering project or creating a brand-new student group, there's something in Team Aber for everyone.
Interactive Stalls: Engage with enthusiastic representatives from various organisations, local businesses, and SU departments. Find out what they can offer and learn about their products, services, and campaigns.
Freebies: Who doesn't love free stuff? Bring a bag and fill it with exclusive giveaways, promotional items, and delicious treats. Don't forget to spin the wheel at the SU stall to be in with a chance of winning a prize!

Quiz Night with your Officer team!
Thursday 1st February @ SU Bar, arrive from 18:00!
Join us for an epic post exam quiz hosted by your officers, let the stress of exams go and have a fun night of competition and trivia! Prizes to be won!!! Teams and Individuals welcome, please bring 1 device per team to play the quiz. Tell us you’re coming here!
