Who we are
Hello there! Welcome to TTRPG Society, your first stop for anything and everything to do with TTRPGs, from classics such as D&D and Call of Cthulu, to more indie hits such as Lancer, and even more obscure ones! We are an inclusive space for absolutely anyone to join in and have a space to enjoy themselves exploring these games, regardless of if they are already experienced with the medium, or complete beginners! We run weekly socials, and this year are proud to say we are going to be doing many different socials to promote lesser known systems, helping beginners take their first steps with these games, and more!

What we do
As previously stated, we have big plans for the upcoming year! From helping those who are new to the scene get their first games in, to helping those already acquainted with some systems branch out and find a new favourite game, and even how to create your own system!
In terms of more generalised activities, we are going to be running regular socials every week, to provide a hub for more casual discussion on all things TTRPGs, but also provide some fun activities during these. they primarily will be non-alcoholic, so feel free to come along! more information will come in september during freshers fair, primarily displayed on our discord!
Speaking of our discord, it is our primary hub for information and everything TTRPG-Soc related. there you will find an inclusive community that is open to helping anyone, a channel for GMs (Game masters, the term for those who run tabletop roleplaying games) to promote their games and overall just a hub for communication on any events we run and our socials schedule. This year, we are also bringing back our Instagram! Make sure to follow it, as it will provide the latest on socials and everything that needs to be communicated quickly.
Overall, we are a fun community comprised of all sorts of people, and are proud to claim being a safe space for all sorts of folk. People play TTRPGs for all sorts of reasons. Some play to help themselves navigate tough periods, as a means of socialising, or making friends. Regardless of the intent, we are here to help and provide the space for such things and hope to see you soon!
Our committee is currently incomplete, as we are running a by-election in september! more information about that in our discord, but we heavily encourage anyone to run!
