The American Society at Aberystwyth University is a club for homesick students or even others simply interested in American culture! We host traditional American holidays such as Thanksgiving and Halloween, and/or other events to share American culture every month.

The American Society was created to help international students reconnect with their community when they need it. Last year we had 171 international students from the United States at Aberystwyth University!
The society was also created to challenge negative views of American people and culture. We as a society pride ourselves on inclusivity, collaboration, and community. Whether you are missing home or simply wanting to join a new community, we are here for you!
