
Sports Club of the Year 2021/22

As one of the fastest growing sports clubs in Aber, we welcome all ranges of ability and experience. Whether you're wanting to run for fitness, socialisation or competition, then this is the place to be.
We are a friendly and sometimes competitive group of people ranging from complete beginners and people who aren't too keen on running or races, all the way to marathon runners and those who have reporesented West or North Wales, there really is no prior experience required. Above all, if you're up for having fun, meeting new people and improving your fitness then you've come to the right place!
We cater for a huge range of athletics and running events, including all track distances, road, trail and cross country running. That said, you don't even have to be keen on these events to be part of the team, you can come along to our weekly sessions, relaxed social runs, gym sessions, Parkruns or sunrise runs to meet new people and keep yourself in great shape!
We also like to relax and enjoy each others company outside of training by organising soical events and going out on Wednesday nights - we're not a running club with a social problem, we're a social club with a running problem.

Fel un o'r clybiau chwaraeon sy'n tyfu gyflymaf yn Aber, rydym yn croesawu pob ystod o allu a phrofiad. P'un a ydych chi eisiau rhedeg er mwyn ffitrwydd, cymdeithasu neu gystadlu, dyma'r lle i fod.
Rydym yn grŵp cyfeillgar (ac weithiau cystadleuol!) o bobl sy'n amrywio o ddechreuwyr llwyr a phobl nad ydyn nhw'n rhy hoff o redeg na rasys, i redwyr marathon a'r rhai sydd wedi cynrychioli rhanbarthau Cymru, nid oes angen unrhyw brofiad blaenorol o gwbl. Os ydych chi'n awyddus i gael hwyl, cwrdd â phobl newydd a gwella'ch ffitrwydd yna rydych chi wedi dod i'r lle iawn!
Rydym yn darparu ar gyfer ystod eang o ddigwyddiadau athletau a rhedeg, gan gynnwys pob pellter trac, rhedeg ffordd, llwybrau a thraws gwlad. Wedi dweud hynny, nid oes rhaid i chi hyd yn oed fod yn awyddus i'r digwyddiadau hyn i fod yn rhan o'r tîm, gallwch ddod draw i'n sesiynau wythnosol, rhediadau cymdeithasol hamddenol, sesiynau campfa, Parkruns neu rediadau codiad haul i gwrdd â phobl newydd a chadw'ch hun mewn siâp gwych!
Rydym hefyd yn hoffi ymlacio a mwynhau cwmni ein gilydd y tu allan i hyfforddiant trwy drefnu digwyddiadau cymdeithasol a mynd allan ar nosweithiau Mercher - nid clwb rhedeg gyda phroblem gymdeithasol ydym ni, clwb cymdeithasol gyda phroblem rhedeg ydym ni.

What's on?
- Mondays 6–7pm - Training sessions, speed or endurance (meet at the track)
- Wednesdays 2:30pm - Social runs, choice of longer or shorter routes (meet at the track)
- Wednesdays 8pm - Social night out (meet at The Cambrian)
- Thursdays 6–7pm -Training sessions, speed or endurance (meet at the track)
- Saturday 9am - Sometimes we have a group Aberystwyth Parkrun on Plascrug Avenue, or races elswhere
- Various days - Sometimes we have gym strengh/plyometric sessions, if there's demand

FREE TASTER SESSIONS: Any student at Aberystwyth University is welcome to come along to any of our sessions for a free taster or two before purchasing membership from our webpage shop. Standard membership is £20 per year (please purchase Tim Aber insurance seperately).
