An SU-run initiative which provides free clothing, kitchenware and homeware to students.

The Undeb Aber Free Hub is a room located in the backrooms of the SU in the underground. The main goal of the Free Hub is to assist students who cannot afford to purchase brand new kitchenware, homeware and clothes. There are no limits to what can be taken. It is expected that users take what they need and treat the room with respect so that others in the same situation can equally benefit from it.

The stock is provided by our own student’s donations. Donations are accepted throughout term and can be handed in at the SU reception.

The room is open from 10:00 – 15:00 from Tuesday to Thursday. This schedule allows the room to be kept organized and new donations to be integrated weekly.

Our Projects:

Working Wardrobe

The working wardrobe is a project which provides the Careers Department formal clothing which students can use for interviews for free. All the clothing is from Free Hub Donations.

Swapshop

The Swapshop is a student-led project which offers students the opportunity to trade their own clothes with other students and our own select stock. This is to discourage waste while allowing students to refresh their wardrobe.
