Guys and girls of Aberystwyth, exiting times are ahead and I'm ready for it all to start!
The past 2 months have flown by since my first day on the job with planning and training, getting settled in and trying to get my head around all the responsibilities and jobs there are for this year. You’ll be happy to know that all the events that you all know and love will be returning this year, bigger and better, and their dates have been set. And now it’s a matter of just getting them up and running. The opportunities team are waiting patiently for everyone to return!
PreFreshers is upon us! We are 5 days away waiting for the madness to begin! It’s one of the best opportunities to recruit for your clubs and societies and I’m relying on you guys to show the wee freshers what it’s all about!
I hope you have your colourful posters and classic paper sheet for your freshers' table, ready for a full and exciting fair! One of my priorities for the year is to make sure students are aware of what the SU does and provides! I'm very focused on making sure students are aware of the opportunities team and how they can help clubs and socs throughout the year!
