Society: Tickled Pink
Why we volunteer: To have fun with friends whilst doing something good at the same time!
What we do: Organise and take part in monthly fundraising events such as the bake sales, glitter face painting, race for life and events in Yokos like our glitter party! Everything we do is with the aim of raising money for the charity CoppaFeel! and spreading awareness of breast cancer amongst young people.
Total raised this year: Our target for the year is £7000 and we’ve currently raised £4500!
Upcoming events: A bake sale in Student’s Union on 22nd February; a ‘Yokos Highjack’ on 28th February and a UV ‘Rave for Life night’ in Harleys on 16th March!
