Short introduction: Hello! My name is Anna (she/her), and I’ve recently graduated with a BA in English Literature. Coming from the Midlands, living on the beach was a must. The last three years in Aber has been a blessing so I’m looking forward to spending another year here as the Academic Affairs Officer!
Tell us an interesting or random fact about yourself: I auditioned for Britains Got Talent when I was eight years old.

It’s your last meal on earth…what’s on the menu? & which 3 celebrity would you invite for food?:
- Starter: an array of all seafood
- Main: Tomahawk Steak with mash and corn on cob
- Dessert: Biscoff Cheesecake and salted caramel ice cream
- Drink: Grape soda
- Celebs invited to my dinner: Ian McKellen, Keanu Reeves, Viggo Mortensen
Why did you choose to stand for this role?: Being part of the 2020-2023 cohort had its challenges as we all went through a pandemic. The whole word was at a stand-still, but students had it particularly hard. I’m now highly motivated in bringing the student experience back to normality with my own passion and experiences so that I may the leave Aberystwyth with a sense of community and ease.
What are you most looking forward to this year?: I’m really looking forward to networking with current and new students; the world is seems changing so rapidly with AI, internet culture, post-covid antics… just to name a few. So lots of interesting and fun conversations to be had!
What are some of the causes you care about?: Optimising university environments (for accessible and calm learning for all)
What is your favourite Aberystwyth hangout?: North Beach… having a bonfire going into the sunset is an Aber must with friends
If you could be an animal what would you be and why?: A koala bear, they seem to have it very chill.
You are on your way to work on a Monday morning…what song comes on as your soundtrack?: 9-5 by Dolly Parton
Name a favourite place you have visited and why: Canada to my Grandmas house. Full of childhood memories.
