Short introduction…
Hi, I’m Ffion, your Opportunities Officer 25/26. After being in Aber for 4 years, I wanted to continue being involved in the SU and the student groups and wanted to be a voice for the students. I hope that this year, I make a difference and become someone that students feel comfortable coming to for any help they might need.

My first experience at Aber Uni was at the Summer Uni programme in 2019.

Chatty, positive and outgoing
It’s your last meal on earth…what’s on the menu? & which 3 celebrity would you invite for food?
Garlic mushrooms, steak and chips and Eton mess Alison Hammond, Aoife O’Farrell and Harry Styles.
What are your hobbies or interests?
I make content online, fashion/lifestyle videos. I also love cheerleading and cooking.
Why did you choose to stand for this role?
It was an exciting opportunity and thought it would be a great way to continue being in Aber.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
Hosting all the events for our students like Superteams and Aber Challenge.
What are some of the causes you care about?
Improving the sports facilities and ensuring all our students feel like they belong.
What is your favourite Aberystwyth hangout?
On the deck at the pier in the summer time.
If you could be an animal what would you be and why?
A bird cause I would love to be able to fly, I would visit every country.
Do you have any out there traditions or strange superstitions?
Me and my friends made it a goal to go out every Monday of freshers week as it was the day we met in our first year.
What’s your unpopular opinion?
Mayo is disgusting. I am a fussy eater but mayo is the one food that I would never go near, it grosses me out.
What one thing do you think everyone should do/try at least once in their lifetime?
A new sport. Having a hobby that keeps you active, can help you feel so much better and can help you meet so many people with similar interests.

Name a favourite place you have visited and why.
This summer I went to Barcelona and it was beautiful! The beach was stunning, so was the La Sagrada Familia.
