Aber Archers have had a hugely successful year, with several of their members qualifying for BUCS Finals which they attended last weekend. Their President, Mark, told us how they got on.
‘Aber Archers had a successful weekend at BUCS. In men's barebow, Tobias Johnson ranked 5th in the UK, I ranked 8th, and Ruben Resende, an archer who has only been shooting with us since semester one of this academic year, ranked 9th. Alex Newnes qualified for the final head to heads but was knocked out in the first stages. Ieuan George Graham also made it to the head to heads for men's recurve but was beaten in the first stage. Leah Hall in women's barebow and Connor Kinsley in men's longbow made it to BUCS finals but did not qualify for the head to heads.’
The support the club have shown towards their beginners is evident. A huge congratulations to the club for their successes last weekend, and throughout the past year.
