Celebrating the successes and achievements of our students and sports clubs here at Aberystwyth University
The Varsity Team of the Year award is given to a team who has performed exceptionally in the year’s Varsity Competition; a team that has been successful in the event and represented the University well and furthered the reputation of Aberystwyth University.
Tarannau American Football are this year’s winner for good reason. Whilst there were many notable performances at Varsity this year, the winners of this award not only performed incredibly during Varsity, recovering from the first half by confirming their win in the final 10 minutes of the match, but also managed to break their extensive streak of losses against Bangor with a memorable 14-12 win.
