History Society's Owain Glyndwr Centre & Parliament House Tour

The History Society is embarking on our first trip this year to go and learn more about Owain Glyndŵr center, parliament house, and the surrounding area of central Machynlleth on November 15th and anyone is welcome to come join! The tour starts at 10:15am and will last for around 1.5 to 2 hours in total, after which you are free to stay and enjoy the town and all it offers! We are meeting in front of the main entrance of the museum, which is located at: 67-69 Heol Maengwyn, Machynlleth SY20 8EE, (look for the yellow flag).  

We are not providing transportation to and from the event and therefore you will have to find your own way there, the most convent is either train or bus. The train station is just a quick 5-minute walk away from the main city center, and the bus can drop you off/pick you up at any of its close stops in town.

As the tour will be a combination of inside and outside, be prepared for walking, being outside, and any possible weather conditions such as rain or wind. 

Each person will have to purchase the £7.50 tickets on our SU webpage. Make sure you purchase a ticket as you will not be able to join the tour without one.
