Welcome Week is your opportunity to meet your Aber community, experience student life and get to know your home. We have loads of events on offer that you can get involved with as much or as little as you’re comfortable with. Its your chance to really get to know your new home – have fun and enjoy all the opportunities available! Check this out

During our Welcome Week we’ve got a range of things going on to introduce you to University life. It’s jam-packed with opportunities to meet new people & make friends. We have day time events, like our Meet & Greets where you can meet other likeminded students, an IKEA trip, and the unmissable Freshers Fair. As well as our amazing evening events that you won’t want to miss! Our activities & events are for everyone; from new students just out of school, mature students and returning students… we’ve got something for everyone.

Freshers’ events (both evening and daytime) are a great way for you to meet other Aber students, make new friends and generally help you settle into university life. With our welcome week lineup, you will have plenty of opportunities to meet your Aber community and have loads of fun while doing so!.

All of our events are taking place on Chapel Green (the field behind the Students’ Union and the Arts Centre) unless otherwise stated on the event or on your ticket. Don’t worry – it will be signposted.
