Who we are:

The Aerial Fitness Society is for all abilities, shapes, sizes and genders: Whether you're a keen athlete or new to aerial fitness we are able to provide fun and challenging workouts led by X-pole XPert qualified instructors.

We currently have three X-Stage 45mm poles (one chrome, one stainless steel, and one silicone) and X-pole A-Frame equipment along with a hoop meaning members will be able to practice a variety of aerial sports in a fun, supportive and relaxed environment. We offer a challenging workout for the whole body: building muscular endurance, posture, flexibility, coordination, core and upper body strength. Workouts involves an individual executing acrobatic or gymnastic based moves whilst spinning or holding themselves up on a hoop or pole, as well as floorwork. A friendly and inclusive environment is maintained by the club for participants to build their energy levels and fitness in confidence.

Although Aerial Fitness is predominantly a workout, the club also provides opportunities for performing dance routines at showcases and at friendly competitive events with other universities (i.e. Bangor University during Varsity).
