While it’s not long since the clocks struck midnight on a new year we are pleased to announce standing for March’s SU Elections is now open.
It will soon be that time of year again where rumours begin to fly about who is standing for what and the excitement begins to build around campuses. This will be followed by chalk, banners, flyers as well as videos and Facebook groups. Whether as a candidate or as a voter you should take time to consider being involved and there is no time better than before the new term begins.
There has never been a better time to shape the future of the Union and the University. We are at the start of a new plan for the years ahead, looking at what services you want us to run as well as how we should run them.
In the months, ahead while you’ll see plenty of emphasis on the five Full-time officers who are paid to represent students next year, you can still be part of the change whilst studying by standing for one of our Volunteer Officer Institute Representative or Student Trustee roles.
To stand in the election visit www.abersu.co.uk/elections and complete the online form by 12:00 on Monday 26th February. If you just want to vote, you can do so via ApAber or using the link that will be emailed you you between Monday 11th and Friday 15th March.
