Aberystwyth Comedy Festival

At the start of May, Machynlleth primarily focuses on work-in-progress shows in pop-up spaces. Since 2010, we have grown from 30 shows attracting 500 visitors to our most recent event in 2018 which featured over 250 performances and an audience of over 7,000!

5 months later, at the other end of the creative process, we are going to showcase our pick of completed shows, ready to go out on tour in established performance spaces in Aberystwyth. We’ll kick things off this October with around 40 shows from Friday evening through to Sunday night.
