About Us
The best club in Aber for making friends, having fun and most importantly, playing hockey! Whether you're joining for the socials, want to try hockey and develop your skills or because you simply love hockey, search for us on Instagram.
We hold training sessions on Monday afternoons from 5-7pm and Friday afternoons 3-4pm on the Astroturf opposite the Sports Centre so feel free to come along and try us out! There will be a few hockey sticks spare for those who don't have their own, although we encourage you to bring your own. We accept everyone regardless of skill and ability, helping to develop your skills and have you a part of the team!
Our matches are on Wednesdays (BUCS) and Saturdays (SWWHL). Hockey Wales is our governing body, and the website can be found here!
The club has socials every Wednesday night where you can meet all the team on a more social basis over a few beverages! Typically, a social theme will be chosen to make some funny nights filled with loads of games and entertainment! Our social secretaries will be in charge of the night and will come up with all sorts of activities for everyone to participate in! We also participate in most uni events such as Superteams, Varsity, Rugby 7s and even organise our own event Hockey 7s. These are all fun events that have great sporting activities followed by a social aspect!

Membership covers the cost of training, equipment, pitch hire for training and matches, transport - minibuses or fuel reimbursements, umpires and much more!
The kit is organised by the President and Secretary and more information about this will be given out at the beginning of the season. For those without kit please make sure to bring a red shirt, black skort and red socks to games. If you have none of these let the committee know and they will attempt to sort something out!

Rydym yn cynnal sesiynau ymarfer ar brynhawn dydd Llun o 5-7yh a phrynhawn dydd Gwener am 3-4yh ar yr Astroturf gyferbyn y Ganolfan Chwaraeon, felly croeso i chi ddod draw i roi cynnig arnom! Mae ein gemau ar Dydd Mercher (BUCS) a Dydd Sadwrn (SWWHL). Llynedd naethon ni ennill y cynghrair ac rydym yn bwriadu cael yr un calyniad eleni. Rydym yn edrych ymlaen at integreiddio chwaraewyr newydd i’n tîm i’n helpu i ddatblygu o fewn y ddwy gynghrair! Hoci Cymru yw ein corff llywodraethu, a gellir dod o hyd i’r wefan yma!
Pob nos Fercher mae’r clwb yn cynnal digwyddiad cymdeithasol er moyn i bawb cwrdd ei gilydd yn amgylchedd mwy cymdeithasol a cael cwpl o ddiodydd! Fer arfer, bydd thema yn cael ei ddewis i greu nosweithiau doniol a llawn gemau a hwyl. Ein hysgrifenyddion cymdeithasol fydd yng ngofal y noson ac yn creu pob math o weithgareddau i bawb gymryd rhan ynddynt!
