It’s that time of year again where rumours begin to fly about who is standing for what and the excitement begins to build around campuses. This will soon be followed by chalk, banners, leaflets as well as videos and Facebook groups. Whether as a candidate or as a voter you should take time to consider being involved.

There has never been a better time to shape the future of the Union and the University. We are about to start a new plan for the years ahead, looking at what services you want us to run as well as how we should run them.
In the weeks, ahead while you’ll see plenty of emphasis on the five Full-time officers who are paid to represent students next year, you can still be part of the change whilst studying by standing for one of our Part-time or Institute Rep roles.
To stand in the election visit www.abersu.co.uk/elections and complete the online form by 4pm Tuesday 28th February. If you just want to vote, you can do so using the same link between Monday 13th and Friday 17th March.
If you want more advice or have any questions, contact us on union.elections@aber.ac.uk.
It’s your university so shape its future as your voice matters!
