AberSU returned from the National Society Awards ceremony hosted by Nottingham Students’ Union on the 19th of May with 3 awards and a highly commended.

Aber societies were shortlisted for 10 out of the 15 award categories.

AberSU President, Lauren Marks is thrilled with the result:

"I'm incredibly proud of all of the tremendous effort our student groups have put in this year and the successes that they have accomplished. The evening at the NSAs was just one way that our groups have been recognised for their fantastic work. It was especially great to see what can be classed as a smaller Students' Union and our student groups achieving on the same level as some of the biggest unions in the UK, and this is down to the in-quantifiable dedication, commitment and passion shown by our students. Congratulations to all of our students and groups who were nominated, shortlisted and who won awards on the night. It was such an enjoyable evening, and I hope TeamAber can continue to represent on a national level well into the future."

Congratulations to all societies that were nominated for a National Society Award and a huge well done to those that came home with an award.
