  1. Reopen Pantycelyn refurbished by 2019; “Pantycelyn is vital for the Welsh language community to thrive at the university. It has a great importance to the university, the language and Wales as a hub for Welsh culture. The community that exist in Pantycelyn is completely unique, and it has nurtured politicians, musicians and influential individuals from every corner of Wales. We’ve already seen the impact of the closure with fewer Welsh speaking students deciding to come to Aber and the decline of some of the building's main traditions such as Aelwyd Pantycelyn struggling with their choir numbers.”
  2. Develop Welsh language provision; “Looking forward to the future of the University I believe it’s vital that the University provides an inclusive Welsh medium education. The language is part of the University spin and if we want to see Aberystwyth develop, I think it’s possible to be leading Wales as the main provider of Welsh education. On a larger scale the strategy of Coleg Cymraeg and the Welsh Government will mean more backing for Welsh medium education, and Aberystwyth should take advantage of that support.
  3. Clubs & Societies are integral for students in Aberystwyth; “It’s a great way of getting students involved with the union, and the experience you have from being part of club and society is just as important as the experience you get from studying.
