We are very excited to announce that the Hugh Owen library will now be open 24/7 throughout term time. This follows a successful trial of the extended opening hours last academic year and during exam periods.
The Students’ Union has been working closely with Information Services (IS) throughout this time to collect student feedback on the extended hours, as well as other services offered by IS, and are looking forward to continue to work with IS on other projects throughout this academic year.
The new 24/7 hours will come into effect for all students from 21st September, and an AberCard will be needed to access the library between the hours of 9pm and 8am.
