We’re your Students’ Union and we are here to make your journey through Aber University a whole load easier.

We work closely with the University, but are a completely independent registered charity.

Led by students and supported by a team of staff, the Students’ Union wants Aber students to love student life and be ready for anything, and works to ensure that Aber students have an epic student journey, are happy, healthy and empowered, with lasting friendships and promising futures!

 

All students at Aberystwyth University are automatically a member of AberSU!

 

Freshers is all about helping you settle in, make friends and love your new home!

We are hosting a wide range of events and activities during the first few weeks to make sure new and returning students love their Aber experience.

During our Welcome Week we’ve got a range of things going on to introduce you to University life. It’s jam-packed with opportunities to meet new people & make friends.

Our activities & events are for everyone; from new students just out of school, mature students and returning students… we’ve got something for everyone.
