Welsh Week 2015

Welcome to the Welsh Week at the Students’ Union! A week of celebrating our Welsh culture and heritage! There’s events on all week to celebrate Saint David’s Week, and to promote the Welsh language and culture on campus. Here’s a taste of what’s to come:

 

  • Monday the 2nd of March: 11-5, Picturehouse – Famous Welsh Films; Patagonia, Twin Town and Pride (free entry).
  • Tuesday the 3rd of March: 11-5, Picturehouse – Hinterland marathon (Welsh version with subtitles) and C’mon Midffild Marathon (free entry.)
  • Wednesday the 4th of March: WATCH THIS SPACE!
  • Thursday the 5th of March: NUS Wales Welsh Language Conference (not in Aberystwyth - transport will be arranged). You need to register for this conference. Go to http://www.nus.org.uk/en/ucm-cymru/ to register and find out more. 
  • Friday and Saturday the 6th and 7th of March: Yr Eisteddfod Ryng-golegol https://www.facebook.com/events/770253039736121/?fref=ts
